Bandeng Presto (Soft-Boned Milkfish), is an iconic food from Indonesia that originated from Semarang, Central Java. This delicacy is mainly made from a milkfish, seasoned garlic, turmeric, salt, then steamed. To make the milkfish bone become soft and safe to consume, the steaming process is done in specialized pan with its lid shut-tight to achieve a high pressurized steaming process.
