Indonesian Food  ; Martabak Ayam and Mayo Rissole.

  • Martabak is often described as spicy folded omelette pancake with bits of vegetables. The most common form of martabak is made from pan fried crepes usually stuffed with beaten eggs, chopped leeks, chives, or green onion (scallions) and minced meat, which is then folded and cut to squares. Martabak is very popular delicay in Indonesia Cuisine. In Indonesia, Martabak is a renowned street food that comes in two types: Martabak Manis and Martabak Telur / Asin.
  • Martabak Manis is a thick and sweet pancake that is usually topped with various toppings ranging from chocolate, cheese, peanuts, condensed milk, sesame seed and margarine. Martabak Telur / Asin is the savoury type, crispy pancakes that consist of eggs, chicken or beef meat and scallions. Martabak Ayam is the same with Martabak Telur / Asin, but it use minced chicken meat as one of the main ingredients. Hence the name, Martabak Ayam, ayam means chicken in Indonesian.
  • Mayo Rissole is just simply a rissole that have mayonaise added as one of the fills.
