  • Rempeyek, an iconic Javanese cracker, made from rice-flour dough with peanuts or shrimp as topping. Rempeyek usually served as complimentary dish in various restaurants in Java, along with main dish. But most of Indonesian also having Rempeyek as snack in general, or adding it into their daily food.
  • Cilok, is another iconic Indonesian snack. Cilok is a abbreviation for “Aci dicolok” , a Sundanese language, which simply meant skewered starch. Cilok main ingredient is usually tapioca starch, shaped into about half or a quarter palm-size ball, and then cooked by being steamed or boiled. Served with a spicy peanut sauce, or sweet soy sauce, Cilok is a great snack to have while visiting Bandung.
