Traditional Indonesian Cake seller ; Kue Sarikaya

Kue Sariyaka, known aslo as Kue Srikaya, is an iconic Indonesian pastry that originated from Palembang, South Sumatra. This cake is characterized by its bright-green (pandan leaf) or light-brown (palm sugar) color, soft and mouth-melting texture when eaten, and a sweet-fragrant pandan leaf smell and flavor. There are many variants of Sariyaka in Indonesia, depending on which topping used, but the most common variants are the the pandan and palm sugar one.
